Aurora's Mission
Convinced of the urgency and importance of training gardeners and farmers of the need to produce food in a manner which heals and cultivates the earth and produces life-giving nourishment, we organized Aurora for the following purposes:
  • provide a forum for communicating ideas, resolving problems, and increasing the effectiveness of Biointensive™ organic gardening and mini-farming techniques with special attention to the mid-west region;
  • educate the public concerning Biointensive™ food production, related technologies, and the connection between culture and agriculture;
  • encourage the development of mini-farming endeavors and the adoption of Biointensive™ food production techniques;
  • conduct research, collect data, and publication of results of research to further the above purposes.
  • provide training programs for practitioners and teachers of Biointensive™ food production techniques and related technologies.
